Never Gonna be Alone :)

2 and a half weeks have gone by since we were first able to hold each other. Each and every day gets better. Nothing feels awkward, nothing out of place. I feel like I've known him forever. I couldn't ask for more. He keeps me on my feet and with my babies gives me something to smile about every second of every day. My complete intentions are to make him happy for the rest of our lives together. I love to see him smile. I love to see him in deep thought. I even love to see him sad only because I know I will be here by his side for the rest of my life and I will do everything possible to make it better. He is an amazing man. He has a heart that even my love is not enough to fill. He makes me proud to stand beside him and to say that I am his. He continues to impress me with his sincere kindness and respect for my babies and I. I am not afraid. I am excited and looking forward to everything that this life holds for us. We will continue to update as we travel on this journey and experience the ups and downs that life will throw our way. Loving him always!!!

In the COOKIES of life...Kids are the sprinkles:)

Cookie Day with Kaeden, Ashtyn and Jordan!!! I was trying to think of something that they could have fun doing and would be different from their normal day to day routine. So I decided to help them make cookies and decorate them. We had a ton of fun and an even bigger mess :)
First we cut the dough, then they rolled it into balls. Kaeden had fun using the roller to try to flatten them out. Ashtyn mostly just ate the cookie dough and made holes in it using her fingers. Jordan did a good job rolling them into balls. We were gonna use cookie cutters but the dough was extremely sticky so instead we just baked them round. I used neon food coloring and mixed it with white icing and put it in ziploc bags for them to decorate with.

I baked the cookies and let them cool, then we decorated them using the neon icing that I had made for them earlier. This was after we put the icing on... thank goodness it didn't stain too much :)

Then it was time to finally EAT them! Although they were really good, I do believe they enjoyed playing in the icing a little more lol. All in all it was really fun and I would def do it again but maybe with a different kind of dough!!!

Kaeden's finished product!Ashtyn's mess !

My finished product with sprinkles!

All in all I feel like it was a huge success and I loved seeing all of the kids laugh and smile!

It's been awhile since I've blogged I know, I have been so busy but it seems like I have done very little or close to nothing :( So, now its technically only 3 days before I leave for Louisiana. I am still really excited and maybe a little nervous now. Everything is pretty much in order I just have to finish getting it all together. Again, Thanks to all of my friends and family that is worried about me, but I will be fine :) Tomorrow, I have a big day ahead of me... To start with I have to get up at 7:30 am (for all of those who know me, you know this is early for me), then I am heading to Gatlinburg to get my car finished up for my trip, then back in time to meet Jen and Jordy (I get to babysit tomorrow, I hope the kids have a blast). I think I am gonna attempt to let them make and decorate cookies. If this is successful, I will post pics...well even if it's not I will post them ;) then I'm not really set on any plans for the kids after that... maybe the park or maybe up to my moms to play idk. There is more to do there. I need the exercise anyways if I'm gonna be keeping up with my energetic-full of life kids all summer long. Then at some point tomorrow, I will be making a much needed trip to get my nails done. At the moment, they happen to be looking rough. Then back home to make dinner, finish up for my final class on Wednesday and clean up the house a little maybe, then on to get some rest for the night. Wednesday and Thursday will prob be a little hectic I assume... Anyways, look for my upcoming posts about Wednesday and the remainder of my week before my trip to Louisiana. Also, in a few days I will be posting May's goals and reviewing how I did on the ones for April. Hope everyone has a good night and/or good day whenever you are reading this. I certainly plan to :)
